Applied Speciation approaches treatability studies in a phased approach which minimizes upfront cost and determines the viability of the technology before large scale implementation. Inclusion of the testing laboratory into the treatability investigation also reduces the time demand of the project while reducing temporal variability which can significantly impact reaction based treatment systems.
