Applied Speciation has developed an array of analytical techniques for halogen speciation depending on the sample matrix and target molecules. While standard ion chromatography methods are acceptable for halogen containing molecules such as
chloride, bromide, or bromate this limited characterization may not be adequate for all investigations. Scientists at Applied Speciation have tailored analytical methods to separate halogen compounds which cannot be support by promulgated methods. While not often requested, ultra-low level (less than 5ug/L) speciation analysis can be supported
for analytes such as perchlorate, bromate and iodate.
Halogen speciation analysis at Applied Speciation currently supports the following halogens: Cl, I, and Br.
We can also perform low level sulfur and phosphorus speciation analysis for the determination of sulfate, thiosulfate, thiocyanate and various phosporus species.
