Applied Speciation offers an array of preparatory and analytical services to support the characterization of trace elements and metalloid species in filters and impinger solutions. Both regulatory and science based approaches are available depending on the data objectives of the project. Routine investigations include air filters and impingers collected for the quantitation of trace metals, cyanide, bulk halogens, minerals, hexavalent chromium [Cr(VI)], and mercury for workers’ safety and stack emissions.

Applied Speciation also offers consulting and research associated with novel molecular investigations for metalloid species. Tedlar bags and stainless steel cylinders are not appropriate for many air studies which necessitate a scientific approach based on the chemistry of the target compounds.
